Hello,

I’m Mika

My vision is to create a space for individuals seeking balance and harmony in their lives through the healing symbiosis of yoga, sound therapy and breathwork. I’ve been a yoga teacher for six years now and have taught over 1000 classes.

Sound I’ve been working with for half my life. From just having fun with it when I playing in bands, working in music production and studying music, to recognising the transformative power of sound in promoting well-being over the last four years.

Sound Healing sessions utilise sound and vibrations to promote relaxation and emotional release, taking you on a unique sensory experience, creating a space for you to nurture and nourish your body, mind & soul.

In the words of Albert Einstein,

‘Sound is everything. It is all of life, that which is moving or vibrating, from the smallest particle to the entire cosmos’

Sound Healing Training

Cape Town May 22-26 May 2024

The Sound Healing Facilitator Training is a balance between Science & Spiritually.

Our 5 day intensive training will give you the knowledge & experience in Sound Healing.

Having dedicated nearly half of my life to working with sound, and with five years of professional experience as a certified sound therapy practitioner, yoga and meditation teacher, I've conducted over 1000 sessions, ceremonies, workshops, and retreats worldwide. Now, I'm thrilled to share all that I've learned on this journey with you.

This course is designed to equip you with everything you need to practice sound healing professionally, whether you specialise in group sound baths, one-on-one sessions, corporate wellness, or integrating sound into other holistic practices like massage or yoga. I believe that the universe operates more like vibration than matter, and by understanding frequency, we can catalyse powerful shifts in our world.

Our approach to sound healing blends spirituality and evidence-based research seamlessly. We recognize the vital balance between these two realms, understanding that while energy and intuition are paramount, grounding our practices in evidence-based principles ensures safety and efficacy.

  • Sound therapy works by utilising sound vibrations to stimulate the body's natural healing processes. These vibrations can have a positive impact on our physical, emotional, and mental states, helping to balance energy, release tension, and improve focus.

  • Sound therapy can offer several benefits, including stress reduction, improved sleep quality, enhanced mood, increased mindfulness, and relief from certain types of pain. It's also known to support meditation and deep relaxation practices.

  • While scientific research on sound therapy is still evolving, there's evidence to suggest that sound vibrations can affect brainwave patterns, promoting relaxation and reducing stress. However, more studies are needed to fully understand the extent of its benefits.
